Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician in Spring Lake, MI to support facility and production operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and coating equipment, and keep systems running reliably.

The ideal candidate has industrial electrical experience with 480V 3-phase systems, welding capabilities, and the ability to follow PM schedules. A personal toolbox is required and overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

Our client, Industrial is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting facility and production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to workplace safety, the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, and the drive to keep systems running reliably through preventive maintenance.

Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Technician

Location: SPRING LAKE, MI

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:00 pm; Overtime as required)

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe, reliable operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, HVAC, plumbing, and coating equipment.
• Work safely with 480V, 3-phase electrical systems and follow all safety procedures.
• Complete welding and fabrication repairs as needed to keep production moving.
• Follow PM schedules, maintain a clean and organized work area, and communicate equipment or safety concerns to the team.

What's Needed?

• Industrial electrical experience required, including knowledge of 480V, 3-phase systems (industrial experience preferred over residential).
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and pneumatics.
• Welding experience, preferably across multiple processes.
• Industrial coating experience preferred—please include where the experience was gained and the types of coatings worked with.
• Ability to troubleshoot, work independently, and follow maintenance procedures; must have a personal toolbox with basic maintenance tools (some tools provided by the company).
