Job summary

Venteon is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor for a leading automotive supplier near Lima, Ohio. The role requires hands-on supervision of a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on reliability, safety, and uptime.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of maintenance supervisory experience in metal stamping or equivalent, with knowledge of electrical systems, welding, hydraulics, and Fanuc/fanuc robots, plus experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.

Qualifications

Journeyman's card or higher in machine repair or maintenance.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required.
3–5 years of maintenance supervision in metal stamping or similar plant setting.
Hands-on leader with good communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with electrical, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical presses.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate maintenance team activities to ensure safe, reliable plant operation.
Schedule and perform preventative and predictive maintenance across shifts.
Review data to reduce unplanned downtime and improve uptime.
Coordinate with Materials and Production to align maintenance with production needs.
Oversee parts inventory and spare parts/crib setup for new equipment.
