Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Fredericksburg Distribution Center to perform essential maintenance on power equipment and facility systems. Schedule: Sunday through Thursday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with opportunities in a growing national network.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
• Ability to operate and maintain forklift equipment and power tools.
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes maintenance on power equipment such as forklifts, high-reach machines, pallet jacks.
• Maintains and repairs scrubbers, compactors, balers and fans.
• Repairs and maintains conveyor systems and rearranges rack systems as needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, fabrication systems and relamping.

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for these essential functions

• Completes maintenance on power equipment - forklifts, high reaches, pallet jacks

• Repairs and conducts the maintenance on the conveyor system & rearranges all rack systems when necessary.
• Performs preventive maintenance on all facility systems: electrical, plumbing, fabrication, does relamping, does construction as needed
