Job summary

Lutron Electronics is seeking a Machine Operator to join the Tanury manufacturing team at our Lincoln, Rhode Island facility. You will operate and monitor production equipment, follow procedures, and help maintain product quality.

Training will be provided, and you will work on the 1st shift with potential overtime. Ideal candidates have hands-on production experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a mechanical aptitude to learn specialized equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience in machine operation or hands-on production is desirable.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized equipment.
• Ability to read and follow English work instructions.
• Shift: 1st shift 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with overtime as needed.
• Lift up to 35 lbs. regularly.
• Work in environments with safety and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment after training.
• Prepare materials and equipment per work instructions.
• Follow documented procedures for equipment operation.
• Monitor processes and report unusual conditions.
• Perform basic equipment checks and communicate maintenance needs.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE guidelines.
• Maintain an orderly work area and support quality goals.
• Complete required training and qualification steps.
