Nordic Cold Chain Solutions in Omaha, NE is seeking a dependable Machine Operator for the 1st shift in our manufacturing facility. You will accurately setup machines, monitor performance and complete production cycles to meet daily targets.

This full-time role requires 2+ years of experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and fluency in English. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of machine operating experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with fill line or packaging equipment preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand and write data in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and verify equipment readiness to start and complete production cycles.
• Monitor equipment and adjust as necessary for proper operation.
• Operate equipment to meet daily production requirements and company efficiency goals.
• Perform quality checks and maintain records to verify product conformance.
• Pack cartons with finished product.
• May perform simple machine maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain housekeeping and daily cleaning of machines and production area.
• Complete work order paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Built as a family business, Nordic partners with each of its clients to create custom solutions that meet and exceed expectations for temperature-controlled packaging and manufacturing.

We are looking for dependable, resourceful and self-motivated Machine Operator to join our 1st shift manufacturing facility in Omaha, NE. Full time employees work 10-hour shifts Monday – Thursday with Friday off.

• Accurately setup machines and verify equipment is ready to start and complete the production cycle.
• Monitor equipment and make adjustments, as necessary, for proper operations.
• Operate equipment efficiently to meet daily production requirements and company efficiency goals.
• Perform quality checks and maintain accurate and timely records to verify products are being manufactured to customer and company standards.
• Help pack cartons with finished product.
• May be required to do simple machine maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, daily cleaning of machines and orderly production area.
• Complete work order paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education (GED).
• Experience with fill line or packaging equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and write data in English.
• Maintain good attendance record.
• 2+ years of previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., to stand, walk, twist and turn frequently.
