Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Job Summary

The Production Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production. Responsibilities include operating machinery according to prints and specifications, maintaining quality standards, preparing materials, performing changeovers, inspecting equipment, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery such as lathes, grinders, mills, punch presses, etc.
• Produce parts within specifications and tolerances
• Maintain quality and record errors
• Prepare materials and change machine tooling as needed
• Handle materials safely and perform routine maintenance
• Inspect equipment before use and perform basic adjustments
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Read blueprints and specifications
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0-1 year relevant experience
• Knowledge of basic mathematics, blueprint reading, measuring devices
• Ability to work independently and safely handle materials (lifting 25-40 pounds)
• Must pass background check and drug test
