Sauder Manufacturing Co. sells in four strategic markets: Healthcare Furniture for Acute Care Hospitals, Education Furniture for colleges and universities, Worship furniture for churches, synagogues, courthouses, and furniture for human services markets which is a diverse network of agencies providing residential housing to many individuals. SCHEDULE: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday thru Friday

Position Summary:

Machine Operator II will have various tasks and responsibilities including:

  1. Machine set up, tooling changes, and change overs
  2. Machine troubleshooting and problem solving
  3. Ability to use computers
  4. Able to read blueprints or markers
  5. Enter program data
  6. Accurate use of complex measurement tools

Position Requirements:

  1. Must be detail oriented.
  2. Regular lifting, maneuvering, and positioning of product up to 50 lbs
  3. Requires full shift of standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  4. Able to read, write, and follow instructions, both written and verbal
  5. Able to use hand-held power tools with accuracy and precision
  6. Able to assist in training employees
  7. 5-S audits and daily cleaning
  8. Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Experience and Knowledge Required:
  1. High school diploma or GED preferred
  2. Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
