Job summary

Manner Polymers, a leading manufacturer of flexible PVC compounds, seeks a dedicated Machine Operator to monitor quality and ensure smooth production line operations in McKinney, TX. You will handle boxes, run extrusion lines, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting production changes and shutdowns.

The role requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, operate industrial machinery, and perform basic numeric tasks with strong attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to perform basic math and read production data accurately.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and place boxes on the production line, label and strap boxes.
• Forward pellet samples to the lab for testing.
• Monitor product quality and record extrusion process information.
• Purge barrel and clean dies and related equipment for changes.
• Keep extruders and surrounding area clean and organized.
• Minimize downtime and defects during extrusion operations.
• Prevent product contamination in packaging and boxes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare & place boxes/super sacks on/off production line, label and strap boxes.
• Forward pellet samples to the lab for testing.
• Monitor product quality and record extrusion process information.
• Purge barrel & clean dies, breaker plates, pellet coolers, etc. for product changes and shutdowns.
• Keep extruders and extruder area clean of powder, pellets, and debris.
• Minimal product defects and minimal downtime due to extrusion operations.
• Eliminate product contamination in boxes.
• Keep work area orderly and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
