Job summary

Staffing Support Specialists is hiring a Machine Operator in Port Washington, WI. This position supports a contract manufacturer of household and personal care items with several shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and B Shift. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.

You will read production orders, stage materials, and operate liquid fill stations, auto cappers, labelers, and heat sealers. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in manufacturing, strong safety compliance, basic math, and solid communication.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow safety rules, procedures, and instructions.
• Basic math skills, including unit conversion.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to complete reports and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret production orders to set up equipment and materials.
• Ensure raw materials are requested and staged for production.
• Operate liquid fill stations, auto cappers, labelers, and heat sealers.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings for flow.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for minor machine issues.
• Support targets by maintaining line speed and minimizing downtime.
