Job summary

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a Full-time Machine Operator for a 1st/2nd shift in Fort Wayne, IN. Pay is $19.00 per hour. The role involves material handling, machine operation, and production support in a cable and paper manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities include operating wedge, die-cut, slitter, chopper, and sonic welder machines, assisting with kitting, packing, and shipping, and supporting a fast-paced industrial environment. Forklift experience is required.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operator and production experience required.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical labor in an industrial setting.
• Forklift experience required.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts from the warehouse and move completed parts through production.
• Operate forklifts to transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-work tasks including core cutting, opening boxes, cleaning rolls, locating dies.
• Work on sorting tables and assist in the kitting department.
• Pack finished products and assist with shipping as needed.
• Operate production equipment including wedge machines, die-cut machines, slitter machines, choppers, and sonic welders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
