Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking an Experienced, 1st Shift Production Associate in Ohio to support lumber mill production and manufacturing. The role runs M-F from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Responsibilities include reading and routing work, operating saws and hand tools, assembling materials into sub-assemblies or finished products, packing goods, and placing items on pallets.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience and forklift certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with production equipment.
• Prior lumber experience is preferred; engineered lumber experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, route, and perform work as directed by the supervisor.
• Operate saws, hand tools, and other equipment used in lumber mill production.
• Assemble sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Place finished goods on designated pallets.
