Siemer Milling Company in Teutopolis, IL is seeking a 1st Shift Loader/Rail to load railcars and support trailer and hopper movement. The role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety procedures.

Pay is $20–$24 per hour with overtime, Sunday time-and-a-half, and a bonus based on company performance. Benefits include group health, life, dental, vision insurance, PTO, and a 401k/ESOP retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL and IDPH fumigation license.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to climb rail cars and operate in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Load railcars and assist in spotting, loading, inspecting, and moving trailers and hoppers.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure timely deliveries.

1st Shift Loader/Rail - Teutopolis, IL

Compensation

• Pay rate $20 - $24 per hour depending on experience.
• PTO available after 7 days.
• Overtime premiums paid over 40 hours worked in a week.
• Double time pay for time worked on Sundays.
• Bonus based on financial performance of the company.

Responsibilities

Focus on cleaning and loading railcars. Must be able to assist in spotting, loading, inspecting, and moving tractor-trailers as well as transportation hoppers, dry vans, tankers and railcars.

Qualifications

• Physical requirements and capabilities include: Moderate arm strength to utilize pressurized air hose in elevated areas, tolerance to withstand extreme temperatures during seasonal weather conditions, frequent climbing of rail cars and trucks and coordination to safely maneuver within the cars, ability to climb as high as sixty (60) feet to perform operations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent skills in customer relations, verbal communication, teamwork and organization, along with ability to follow oral and written direction.
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL.
• Need to be able obtain IDPH License on Fumigation.

Hours: Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm with overtime and weekends as needed. Possibility of rotating shifts to help cover department.
