Job summary

Pennex is seeking a Loader for the 1st shift at our Wellsville, PA location. The role involves loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts, cranes, and related equipment to maintain a steady flow of materials for production and shipping.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of warehouse experience, forklift experience, and a valid forklift license. Ability to read safety rules and use measurement tools is required. Pre-employment screening is mandatory; visa sponsorships are not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of warehouse experience required; a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Forklift Operator license is required.
• Loading/unloading experience preferred.
• Shipping/packing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or oral instructions to understand materials to load or move.
• Load and unload materials using forklift and straps to trailers or staging area.
• Stage materials for easy access to fulfill customer orders and optimize space.
• Calculate weights and volumes to ensure loads fit safely and space is used efficiently.
• Decide how to load orders or stage materials for optimal flow.
• Load materials into vehicles and secure with straps, bracing, or padding.
