Job summary

Greif in Centerville, AL is seeking a 1st Shift Line Operator to perform routine manufacturing tasks under direct supervision. You will prepare job sites, operate equipment, move materials, build temporary structures, and collaborate with plant workers.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, following safety rules, conducting routine quality checks, and reporting issues to supervision. High school diploma required; ability to follow directions and work in various roles.

• Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level colleague.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine activities including, but not limited to preparing job sites, ensuring safety conditions, transporting materials, using power tools and other equipment, building temporary structures, and collaborating with other plant workers.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $15.82 - $25.24annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between18.10 to18.10. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
