Millerbernd Manufacturing Company in Winsted, MN is seeking a Large Press Operator 1 for the 1st shift. You will operate a large press brake to shape metal parts, verify prints, load materials and perform quality checks while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires reading blueprints, basic math, and teamwork. Competitive hourly pay, with a Freight Train Profit Sharing bonus and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and prints.
• Basic shop math skills.
• Operate forklift, hoist and crane safely.
• Use power and hand tools and measuring devices.
• Work with others in a high‑performance team and adapt to priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operates a press brake to manufacture shafts from sheet metal.
• Performs quality checks on materials before processing.
• Loads/feeds material into the press and reads against prints.
• Performs in‑process inspections and keeps area clean.
• Assists in machine set‑ups and changeovers and supports routing.
• Records basic machine settings and labels parts for routing.
• Notifies supervisor of defects or equipment issues.
• Maintains production schedule and supports safety practices.
