Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Akron is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing operation in Barberton, OH. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with starting pay of $30.00 per hour. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience and strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of machine maintenance.
• Experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair production equipment efficiently.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
• Install, maintain, and repair production equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
