Job summary

Flexaust Inc. in Warsaw, IN is seeking an Industrial Maintenance professional to perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings, machinery, electrical and mechanical systems.

You will manage heating units, air compressors, and use CMMS for work orders, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work area. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience, basic carpentry, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance on buildings and machinery as required and requested.
• Operate and maintain heating systems; upkeep of heating units.
• Operate and maintain air compressors; scheduled oil changes and filter changes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Maintain upkeep of buildings which may require painting and carpentry work.
• Responsible for all company-owned maintenance tools.
• Utilize the CMMS work order program.
• Ability to be qualified as an extrusion, Genesis, Flexaust, and Flexadux operator by understanding how each machine operates.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintaining building, property, and routine maintenance on machinery and equipment. Clean, maintain and repair both electrically and mechanically.

Qualifications:

• 1. Ability to work well with others and possess good organizational skills.
• 2. Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn.
• 3. Must be able to follow requests and be self-directed. Work alone and in a team environment.
• 4. Must be available for snow removal or other work related issues outside of their normal work hours. (Overtime is required with this position)
• 5. Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
• 6. High school education and knowledge of maintenance procedures.
• 7. Good basic knowledge of carpentry, mechanical, electricity, plumbing, and custodial skills.
• 8. Must possess a knowledge of factory safety (OSHA) and environmental (EPA) procedures.
• 9. Must follow ALL Flexaust handbook requirements.

Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 1 years' experience in the Industrial Maintenance field.
