Job summary

AdvisaCare in Michigan is seeking Home Health Aides to provide in-home care with a focus on personal connection and tailored assistance. 1st shift, 8-hour shifts, part-time and PRN opportunities in Cedar Springs and surrounding areas.

You will support clients with ADLs, transfers, positioning, bathing, and companionship, while maintaining independence and dignity. Reliable transportation and CPR certification are required; travel within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• CPR Certified.
• Ability to travel within the service area.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work independently with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assisting client with ADLs.
• Transfers (client can pivot for transfer).
• Positioning.
• Bathing as needed.
• Catheter care.
• Accompany client to appointments as needed.
• Light duties around the home (e.g., changing sheets, sweeping, mopping).

• 8 hours, 1ST shift!

Caregiver Responsible for:

• Assisting client with ADL's
• Transfers (Patient is able to pivot transfer)
• Positioning
• Bathing as needed
• Catheter care
• Going out with client to appointments as needed
• Light duty house work such as: changing of sheets, sweeping and mopping etc

Requirements
