Job description

Pay Rate: $21/hr

Work Hours: 1st Shift - Sunday-Thursday 7am-4pm

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials following all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units from rack locations above floor height and prepare for outbound shipment.
• Select and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items using Radio Frequency (RF) system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance and check sheets.
• Monitor, maintain, and clean batteries; ensure equipment is charged properly.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate other machinery and material handling equipment as needed.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage while wearing PPE and freezer gear.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs./18 kgs; weight may vary depending on the facility.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends if necessary.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels, which can be loud at times.
