1st shift Heavy Industrial Laborer

Remedy Staffing is hiring experienced Heavy Industrial Laborers for day shift at a lumber manufacturing plant in central Alexandria, LA.

*Contract to hire with benefits!

ROP: $16.00 per hour during the day shift, with a $1.00 shift differential for night shifts.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (overtime as needed)

Job Duties:

• Manufacturing lumber
• Lifting approximately 25 lbs per pre-cut plate, totaling close to 1000 plates per shift
• Handling jackhammers (45 lbs)
• Working in various weather conditions
• Using handheld tools for banding
• Hard demanding labor work!

• Ability to operate heavy equipment
• Ability to work around chemicals
• Ability to read, write, and pay attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors year-round
• Must have experience!
• Must be able to lift heavy weights during 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
