Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking entry-level general laborers for the 1st shift at the Eufaula Fresh Plant. The role involves safe production work, following Tyson policies, and adherence to PPE protocols. Applicants may be required to perform tasks with knives/scissors or powered equipment in certain positions.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, work in variable temperatures, and operate in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments and reach above shoulder level.
• Stand for 8–10 hours daily on hard surfaces and perform repetitive motions.
• Must climb stairs as needed and wear PPE including frocks, gloves, ear protection, hair net and beard guard.

Job Details: Job Description 365 Day Rehire Waiting Period 3 Time Maximum Rehire Rule 1st Shift- General Production- Eufaula Fresh Plant This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

SUMMARY: Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions. Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level. Be able to stand 8- 10 hours a day on hard surfaces. Able to perform repetitive motion. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas. Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. ATTENTION: These positions may involve the use of a knife and/or scissors to bone out or trim pieces of product, or the use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines.
