Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a 1st Shift General Maintenance technician in Nephi, Utah to support manufacturing of iron castings and plant equipment. You will perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Technical school graduate with two years maintenance experience preferred; willingness to extend hours or shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical school graduate in Industrial Maintenance.
• Two years experience in maintenance preferred.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or other shifts if required.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the manufacture and shipment of quality iron castings by maintaining, inspecting, servicing, repairing, cleaning, and painting plant equipment and vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures and report any injury, unsafe act, or equipment failure; maintain a clean work area and proper storage of tools and materials.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to facility equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation.

These products are used in commercial, infrastructure and industrial applications to protect people and property. **Responsibilities****:*** To aid in the manufacture and shipment of quality iron castings by means of installation, service, repair, operation, and inspection of all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and minor electrical portions of all facility equipment including production and maintenance equipment, buildings and structures, plant vehicles, services and utilities for Victaulic. Perform repairs to building and property in production areas.
