Job summary

Tyson Foods in Kentucky is seeking an entry-level general labor associate for mill operations. You will clean and maintain operational areas, assist with ingredients receiving, and help ensure a safe, organized work environment.

Responsibilities include unloading ingredients, handling spills, PPE usage, and lifting up to 60 pounds (100 with assistance). Willingness to work 1st shift, holidays, and adverse conditions is required to meet demand.

Qualifications

• Sweep and clean assigned areas of the mill and sign off when completed.
• Assist with unloading ingredients from rail cars and trucks.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Wear PPE and work in hot, dusty, wet environments.
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean assigned areas of the mill and sign off when completed.
• Assist with unloading ingredients from rail cars/trucks.
• Clean up feed spills and use high pressure water hoses for wash down.
• Move pallets using PIT equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required by scheduling.
