Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Willard, OH is seeking a Forklift/PIV Operator for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm). You will load/unload trucks, scan parts for inventory, and keep lines stocked while following safety and ISO standards.

You must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain one, with the ability to read and comprehend instructions and lift up to 40 lbs. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid lift truck operator license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn facility layout, Janus scanners and AS400.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily forklift safety check sheet.
• Load and unload parts or materials from trucks.
• Scan parts in/out of stock locations for inventory accuracy.
• Keep assembly lines stocked with the correct parts.
• Avoid overstocking lines with excess inventory.
• Follow all safety policies and ISO procedures.
• Keep stock areas neat and organized; use radio etiquette.
• Provide backup as needed; perform tasks as assigned.
