Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a Forklift/PIV Operator for the Willard, OH distribution center on 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 2pm–10pm). The position offers a wage of $22.26/hour with a shift premium to $24.26/hour plus benefits.

You will perform forklift safety checks, load/unload trucks, ensure accurate inventory, keep lines stocked, and adhere to ISO standards while working with Janus scanning guns and AS400 systems. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid lift truck license or successfully complete lift truck training.
• Willingness to learn the facility layout.
• Must be able read and comprehend instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of the AS400 system or willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily safety check sheet on forklift.
• Loading and unloading parts or materials off trucks.
• Scan all parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Keep assembly lines and associated departments stocked with the proper amount of parts.
• Avoid overstocking lines or departments with excess inventory.
• Abide by all SBD Willard safety policies.
• Follow all applicable ISO standards & procedures.
• Ensure all stock areas are kept neat and organized.
• Use proper radio etiquette.
• Provide backup as needed throughout the department as needed.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Zone Leader.
