Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a forklift operator to support safe material handling in our Indiana facility. In this fast-paced role you will operate sit-down, stand-up and walkie trucks while prioritizing associate safety and meeting daily production demands.

You will use handheld scanners and ERP/MES systems to locate and stage materials, perform daily PIT inspections, and communicate production status to management.

Qualifications

Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
Commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow procedures and meet production targets.

Responsibilities

Safely operate powered industrial truck, prioritizing associate safety over production output.
Observe pedestrians and maintain safe distances in the work vicinity.
Move products using sit-down, stand-up, and walkie-style trucks.
Use handheld scanners and ERP/MES tools to locate and stage materials accurately.
Utilize tablet PCs and MES to update production status for management.
Perform daily PIT inspections.
Maintain plus level eligibility per requirements.
Supply skins to BDL/CDL/Saws.
Assist with other duties as assigned by supervision.
