Job summary

Targeted Pet Treats in Warren, PA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a food manufacturing facility. You’ll troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, and ensure GMP/HACCP compliance. The role requires hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced environment and the ability to read blueprints and manuals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial setting (food industry preferred).
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in comparable industry.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Familiar with GMP/HACCP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including injection presses, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair HVAC, chillers, dryers, and compressed air systems.
• Support sanitation and food safety compliance through equipment upkeep.
• Document maintenance activities using CMMS software.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets standards.
• Follow up on maintenance tasks for adequate resolution with internal customers.
