Job summary

JPS Composite Materials, headquartered in Anderson, SC, is seeking a Finishing Department professional to schedule equipment and coordinate shipments to meet customer ship dates. The role emphasizes minimizing changeovers and driving continuous improvement across finishing operations.

You will track style-specific inventory, support special projects, and ensure proper FO/RPO paperwork handling within the department for efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of finishing machinery operations and capabilities.
• Strong mathematical ability for measurements and quality checks.
• Ability to read and interpret shop floor data and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule finishing equipment to meet all ship dates and maximize efficiency.
• Reduce changeovers to improve overall department throughput.
• Track shipments and inventory by style to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist manufacturing with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handle, initiate, and store FO and RPO paperwork within the Finishing Department.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (some college credits preferred)

Have a good knowledge of machine capabilities in Finishing

Must have a good background in math.

Must be able to meet deadlines and maintain good communications with Management

and Associates.

Must be self-motivated.
