Job summary

Fathom Mfg in Hartland, WI is seeking a Post Production Trimmer to trim fiberglass hand lay-up parts and support finishing processes. The role involves priming, lamination, gluing, sanding, trimming, glazing, and related tasks across the production line.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Overtime may be required and some reading of blueprints is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
• Knowledge of hand tools and air tools is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Reading blueprints is preferred; willingness to learn new programs and technology.
• Some overtime may be required; 9 to 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Trim fiberglass hand lay-up parts using air tools and hand tools per blueprint.
• Assist in Finishing Department as needed.
• Prepare parts for painting; hand sanding and air tools, sandblasting.
• Fill voids or scratches with plastic body filler as needed.
• Install brass inserts; some assembly work.
