INNIO Group in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Utility Technician to support daily operations, maintenance and improvement of the site’s infrastructure. This role ensures safety, functionality, and cleanliness while coordinating with vendors.

The first shift is from 5:00am to 1:00pm or 6:00am to 2:00pm, with basic repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, and forklift operation among duties. A high school diploma and 1+ year of facilities experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
• Industrial forklift / lift truck operating experience.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with maintenance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum weight of 40 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Perform basic repairs and general maintenance tasks (e.g., patching walls, fixing doors, replacing light bulbs).
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment under supervision.
• Support licensed technicians and contractors during repairs and installations.
• Monitor and report issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
• Manage stock of basic maintenance supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
• Respond promptly to minor facility‑related service requests and emergencies.
• Operate forklifts & loading/unloading trucks.
• Help with office moves, furniture assembly, and workspace setup.
• Follow safety procedures and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
