Job description

1st Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician, Kohler Hospitality

Work Mode:Onsite

Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Toprovide basic facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance inspection asrequired to assure the functional reliability of patron facilities and optimumperformance of one, if not all building systems and equipment in theHospitality & Real Estate Group properties.Must demonstrate and be proficient at some technical skills such as butnot limited to; carpentry, mechanicals, flooring, painting, electrical, pools,HVAC, drywall, etc. Must exhibit goodinterpersonal skills with both internal and external customers.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and service for specified equipment, machinery, and systems throughout the Group facilities.
  • Perform simple repairs to buildings or equipment at Group facilities as requested through Work Orders. Provide assistance to more experienced Technicians in addressing complex inspections or repairs when more than one person is required.
  • Monitor assigned external areas of the Group facilities for safe and functional use by patrons.
  • Participate in training programs to develop skills, knowledge, and background as it pertains to the Group facilities.
  • Maintain accurate preventative maintenance inspection reports, work schedules, backlog, and completed work order reports.
  • Recommend ordering of maintenance spare parts and materials for repairs and/or inventory.
  • Maintain storage areas in an orderly manner in compliance with all building fire and safety codes.
  • Communicate regularly via electronically and verbally to pass along information to the next shift and/or maintenance department for follow-up and/or awareness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Hours are 7:00am-3:00pm. Weekends are required.

Skills/Requirements

  • High School graduate.
  • Additional technical training in mechanical,electrical, carpentry, HVAC, tiling, pools, and/or plumbing preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilledtrade position.
  • Must be a motivatedtradesmen capable of working independently with little supervision.

The hourly range for this position is $20-$22. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
