Salary: Starting at $24.50/hour

Work Activities: Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Read and understand work-related materials.
- Perform strong blueprint reading.
- Experience in MIG/TIG/SMAW (stick) welding.
- Sanding, chipping, and cleaning of parts.
- Layout, assemble in jigs or fixtures, weld, and inspect welds.
- Maintain safe work habits.
- Ability to bend, twist, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds.
- Clean work area at end of each shift or as required.
- Plan work by reviewing work orders and optimizing material usage.
- Keep work area organized throughout and at the end of shifts.
- Respond quickly and effectively to production and customer needs, adapting to schedule changes.
- Pass and maintain PPE and monitoring requirements.
- This is a safety-sensitive position involving handling heavy materials and operating forklifts, which could pose hazards to yourself or others.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand work-related materials.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Math skills for problem-solving.
- Experience in MIG/TIG/SMAW welding.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Vocational training in welding strongly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of designing, using, and repairing machines and tools.
Hours
- Forty-hour work week.
- Occasional overtime, especially to meet customer or production deadlines.
- This is an hourly position.
This is a safety-sensitive position due to the use of lifting and moving heavy materials with forklifts and hoists.
