Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED division in Rumford, RI is seeking a Maintenance Electrician - 1st Shift to plan, install, repair, and maintain a wide variety of electrical and high-frequency equipment and wiring. Core hours are 7 am to 3 pm and the facility is unionized.

The role requires reading wiring diagrams, wiring motors for machine tools, balancing loads, and lubricating panel boards while coordinating with other electricians and supporting ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Rhode Island Electrician Journeyman’s or Masters License.
• Must have a current and valid Driver's License.
• Must possess or obtain an OSHA Forklift License within 3 months of hire date.
• Itar compliance and U.S. person requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, and perform installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Diagnose troubles quickly to avoid or minimize shutdowns.
• Install and wire motors for machine tools and controls.
• Coordinate with outside electricians and supervise helpers.
