Carter LOGISTEED Express Operations is seeking a Crossdock Clerk to join our team in Anderson, IN. This full-time office role involves auditing inbound/outbound paperwork, preparing manifests, coordinating with Dispatch, and supporting the crossdock facility in a high-energy environment.

The position requires strong organization, solid communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend requirements on short notice.

Job Description: Crossdock Clerk

Location: 4020 West 73rd Street, Anderson, IN 46011

Department: Crossdock Job Status: Full-Time Reports to: Shift Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

As a team member in Carter LOGISTEED Express Operations, you will be a part of Carter LOGISTEED Express’ competitive and lively work environment. Crossdock Clerks play a vital role in the manufacturing of popular brands of vehicles seen on the road today. The Crossdock Clerk opportunity requires attention to detail, ability to perform in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Necessary processes to complete job are trained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Auditing paperwork, preparing inbound and outbound manifests, filling paperwork, etc.
• Submit late inbound notices
• Submit overflow requests
• Use the Route Schedule to prepare outbound manifests
• Verify after loading that everything was loaded, checking the Hot Board for must go freight
• Answering phones and assisting our Dispatch Team as needed
• Work Monday - Friday
• Weekend requirements may apply with advance notice.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED required.

EXPERIENCE

Must have strong organizational skills along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Must be self-sufficient and self-motivated.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook email required. Must have the ability to learn new programs as necessary.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is an office position within our crossdock facility. You will have access to our crossdock thus will need to follow all correct and proper PPE requirements set for entering the dock area. Such as but not limited to, wearing a reflective vest, shirt, or jacket, and steel toe shoes or shoe coverings.
