Job Title: Converting/Utility Worker

Location: Georgetown, KY

Shift: 1st shift - 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday
(Mandatory Overtime on Fridays)

Pay: $15.00/hour

What you will be doing:

• Providing support to the machine crew and Operator.
• Operating machines such as Rotary Die Cutter, One Cut Die Cutter, Flexo Folder Gluer, Post Folder Gluer, Jumbo, Automation Stitcher, Taper Gluer, Flatbed Die Cutter, Atom Die Cutter, Honeycomb Die Cutter, Coaters and Laminator, Slitters, Band Saw, and Post Sonic Welders.
• Meeting operational goals and efficiently setting up machines.
• Troubleshooting quality issues.
• Unitizing material to customer specifications.
• Checking incoming stock against specifications before machine setup.
• Monitoring waste levels and notifying the Operator if waste is excessive.
• Monitoring machines for potential maintenance issues.
• Participating in TPS activities and Kaizen events as needed.
• Assisting in training new helpers.
• Working with the Finishing Operator to learn machine operation.
• Ensuring the machine and surrounding area are cleaned at the end of each shift.
• Documenting project information using a computer system.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must comply with the client’s substance abuse and background policy.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing/industrial experience.
• Basic computer/data entry skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good math skills including fractions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
