Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Construction Crew Member (Laborer) to support water and sewer infrastructure projects in the Clemson/Seneca Area, SC. You will work outdoors, operate basic equipment, and contribute to a hardworking crew on site.

The role offers a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with starting pay at $17.00 per hour, plus an evaluation-to-hire opportunity that can lead to a permanent position in heavy civil construction.

Qualifications

• Construction or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work
• Dependable with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Assist with renovations and new construction of water treatment plants and pump stations
• Perform water and sewer line installation and repair
• Excavate and set precast concrete structures
• Install and repair plumbing systems, including ductile iron and PVC piping
• Perform concrete work and site preparation
• Assist with grading using skid steers and excavators
• Install erosion control measures
• Follow all job site safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team
