Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a skilled assembler in Duncan, SC to perform assembly and disassembly of parts in an industrial setting. You will use hand and power tools, read engineering drawings, and contribute to a safe, efficient production line.

Teamwork and clear communication are essential as you support quality and production goals. The role requires at least 1 year of assembly experience, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to work 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).

Qualifications

• 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Must be able to use tools and equipment to perform assembly operations.
• Must have good listening and communication skills.
• Able to work well with others as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes.
• Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, and crane as required.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass tests.
• Maintain assembly and test equipment as required.
• Adhere to all safety rules and maintain good housekeeping.
