Job summary

TE-CO Manufacturing LLC is seeking a 1st Shift CNC Mill Machinist to setup, edit, and operate vertical and horizontal CNC mills to perform close-tolerance machining. On-the-job training is provided, with a schedule from 6:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Thursday, on site.

The ideal candidate has proven work history in a machine shop; prior tooling and setup experience are preferred. This role offers hands-on opportunities to advance technical skills and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Study blueprints and process documents to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Plan and set up machines for unattended, lights-out operations with tooling, programs, materials and safety measures.
  • Select, fabricate, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines.
  • Start and observe machine operation to ensure no malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust as needed.
  • Maintain machines and replace worn tools using hand tools.
  • Enter commands or load control media into machine controllers to retrieve programmed instructions.
  • Measure dimensions using precision instruments to ensure conformance.
  • Check lubrication and cooling during operation.
  • Confer with supervisors to resolve malfunctions or production errors.
  • Lift workpieces manually or with hoist/crane.
  • Comply with safety standards and policies.
  • Assist in setting production standards.
  • Record time and piece counts accurately.
  • Keep machine area clean and organized and remove chips daily.
  • Provide training to other machinists as needed.
  • Safeguard programs and save backups.
  • Generate process documents as needed.
  • Request supplies as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY
1ST SHIFT CNC MILL MACHINIST

Setup, edit and operate Vertical and Horizontal CNC Mills in order to perform various close tolerance machining operations.

Seeking an individual with a proven work history. Prior machine shop & tooling required.

6:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M. MONDAY- THURSDAY
