Armada Staffing Group is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Fort Wayne, IN for a full-time 1st shift. Starting pay is $21/hour with weekly pay and full benefits.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up CNC equipment, and performing precision measurements to ensure quality parts. Basic CNC programming knowledge (G-code) is encouraged, with opportunities to grow in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to measure parts with precision tools.
• Willingness to learn CNC programming basics (G-code).
• Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing instructions.
• Fixture, set up, and operate CNC equipment.
• Select appropriate work holding and installing tooling.
• Make basic machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gages, indicators, comparators, and height gages.
• Learn and apply basic CNC programming concepts, including G-Code.
• Make minor program and controller adjustments as needed.
• Complete required inspections and record job information accurately.
• Perform routine equipment checks and communicate equipment or maintenance needs.

Summary
