Job summary

Allure of the Quad Cities in Moline, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care and support to residents, including daily living activities and medication assistance. This role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate care, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois CNA license and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and document accurately.
• Respond to call lights and resident needs promptly.

Position Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides hands-on care and support to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and other duties. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team-oriented environment and contribute to the comfort, dignity, and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nourishment
• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, and showers
• Support ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake/output
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Observe and report changes in resident condition
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Maintain resident dignity and confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)
• Follow all company policies and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in ongoing education and training

Requirements:

• Current Illinois CNA certification required
• CPR certification required
• Long-term care experience preferred (but not required)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend regularly
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Visual and auditory ability for effective communication
• Moderate noise level work environment
