Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help ensure the uninterrupted flow of life-saving drugs through the pharmaceutical supply chain. You will follow SOPs to pick and prepare orders, perform quality checks, and build pallets while working in cold environments during shift hours.

Applicants should be comfortable with physical tasks, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and willing to cross-train in multiple areas.

Qualifications

• Physically capable to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in cold environments 36°F–42°F.
• Able to bend, reach, and stand for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders: pick, QC checks, sort, consolidate freight, build pallets, pack and prepare shipments.
• Work in cold temperatures across shift segments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as assigned.

Shift: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm (or task completed)What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal HealthWarehouse Operations ensures an uninterrupted flow of life saving drugs through the pharmaceutical supply chain. We are responsible for performing a combination of crucial tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of sensitive product. Our efforts directly contribute to hospitals’ and pharmacies’ ability to administer essential pharmaceutical products to the patients who need them the most.Responsibilities in this roleFollow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to process orders including accurately picking, performing quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading and preparing the orders for shipment.Responsible for working in cold temperatures throughout segments of the shiftResponsible for cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and/or participates in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team member.Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment including complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.QualificationsWe are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience.
