Job summary

RTX's McKinney site is seeking a 1st Shift Chemical Support Specialist to ensure safe handling, storage, and availability of production chemicals.

You will manage inventory, coordinate replenishment, track shelf-life, and liaise with manufacturing, suppliers, and EHS to maintain regulatory compliance.

The role requires a HS Diploma or AA and at least 4 years in chemical handling, with willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in chemical handling and inventory control.
• Familiarity with SDS requirements and hazardous material controls.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coordination, storage, tracking, and compliance of production chemicals and freezer materials.
• Manage chemical inventory, replenishment, issue/return processes, and storage areas.
• Support shelf-life management and disposal of expired or nonconforming materials.
• Act as liaison between manufacturing teams, suppliers, and EHS groups; verify labeling and safety sheets.
