Daimler Truck North America is seeking a 1st Shift Block Prep - Assembler/Disassembler L3 in Byesville, OH. You will visually inspect engine blocks to verify repairs, remove caps, use wash tanks, inspection cameras, and complete documentation as part of the remanufacturing process.

The role requires standing for long shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following standardized work procedures in a hands-on production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power & hand tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including repetitive processes and lifting.
• Clean & inspect engine blocks and operate hoist, air tools, hand tools, torque wrenches, gauges, wash tank, and inspection camera.
• Read and understand Work Station Instructions and access drawings, BOMs and specifications.
• Contribute to safety, quality, attendance and productivity improvements and rotate positions as required.

Primary responsibilities include removing caps, tapping head bolt holes, use of wash tank, use of inspection camera, and completing documentation.
