Job summary

You will follow SOPs, work instructions, and cGMPs to ensure compliant output. You will gradually take on duties such as line clearance, quality checks, ruler reading, and minor machine adjustments while maintaining accurate records and safe, clean

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate folder machines and related bindery equipment.
• Perform line clearance between runs and monitor each run for quality.
• Read a ruler to 1/64th of an inch and correct non-standard work as needed.
• Troubleshoot machine operation and make minor adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with cGMPs and SOPs.
• Assist with packaging product to customer specifications.
• Keep equipment clean during operations and non-operating periods.
• Communicate with technicians to resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety requirements and wear required PPE.
• Support team with additional duties as requested.

Job Title: Bindery Operators | Job Type: Temp-Hire | Location: Greensboro 27409 | Shift: 1st shift 7am-3:00pm | Pay: $16hr

The Bindery Inspector-Operator I Temp to Hire will learn to operate folder machines and related bindery equipment to produce high quality printed pharmaceutical literature. Working under a trainer, this entry level, Temp to Hire position follows Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and current Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn to perform manual and machine operator duties related to operation of folder machines and related bindery equipment.
• Learn to conduct line clearance activities between runs.
• Learn to monitor each run to ensure product meets specifications.
• Learn to evaluate work for defects according to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Learn to read a ruler to 1/64th of an inch.
• Learn to correct and replaces any non-standard work while monitoring scrap/waste.
• Learn to troubleshoot machine operation according to procedure making minor adjustments as necessary.
• Communicates with technician in a timely manner to troubleshoot unresolved operational issues.
• Learn to package product to customer specifications.
• Maintains accurate records in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Maintains equipment cleanliness during operating and non-operating periods.
• Contributes to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free work area and promptly reports potentially unsafe conditions.
• Complies with environmental and OSHA requirements to include wearing required personal protective equipment.
• All other duties as reasonably requested.
