Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a 1st Shift Assistant Operator to support production lines, learn equipment, and ensure quality while maintaining safe, organized work practices. The role reports to the production team and contributes to steady daily output on a Monday–Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing or machine operation exposure, can lift up to 50 pounds, and is dependable with good attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators with production setup, operation, and changeovers.
• Load and unload materials onto production equipment.
• Monitor product quality and report any defects or issues.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and notify operators of equipment concerns.
• Stack, package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety guidelines.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Assist with material handling and movement of products throughout the facility.
• Follow all company safety procedures and production standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
