Job summary

Premier Packaging is seeking a 1st shift Assembly Technician in Indianapolis, IN for full-time employment. The role involves assembling products using a stitch gun, glue gun, hand bander, and heat gun, with an emphasis on meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs alone and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and specifications.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Basic math for counting and measuring.

Responsibilities

• Comply with time study and pieces-per-hour performance standards.
• Operate stitch gun, glue gun, hand bander, heat gun and bundler.
• Follow assembly procedures to ensure correct product assembly.
• Maintain clean and organized workstation and dispose of trash properly.
• Perform quality checks on assembled products to meet standards.
• Handle and move corrugated materials within the assembly area.
• Coordinate with forklift operators or material handlers as needed.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
