Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville is hiring for a 1st Shift Assembler in Kentucky. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will assemble components and subassemblies for our products, following assembly instructions and blueprints.

This on-site role runs 6am–2pm, Monday to Friday, and includes a $1000 signing bonus, paid holidays and vacation, an air-conditioned facility, and opportunities for advancement through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing environment.
• Light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly experience.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Study instructions and parts lists to prepare work.
• Assemble components and verify fit.
• Measure completed components to verify specifications.
• Resolve assembly issues by adjusting dimensions and requesting resources.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean workspace and follow safety rules.
• Manage supplies and inventory; place orders as needed.
• Document production and quality actions.
• Support team and other departments as needed.
• Comply with corporate and plant safety standards.
