Job summary

Sedona Staffing Services seeks an Assembler for 1st shift in Freeport, IL. The role covers handling, packing, assembly, and inspection of components used in sheet metal product manufacturing, ensuring quality and a safe workspace. Pay is $15.50 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential weekend OT.

The successful candidate will read BOMs and drawings, use hand tools, and lift up to 50 pounds. Prior manufacturing experience (1–3 years) is preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read drawings and use a tape measure accurately.
• Experience in manufacturing or related industrial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and pack components according to BOMs and work instructions.
• Hang and remove parts from the paint line as directed by production leads.
• Perform final product assembly and quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify, select, and space paint hooks for various products.
• Stack and prepare painted products for material handling and shipment.
• Operate hand tools, shop tools, and hand trucks safely and effectively.
• Scan routers and document material usage in business software systems.
• Package finished products for shipment and document materials used per router.
