Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Fremont, California, is seeking an assembly technician to perform a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of pre-production projects, following rough schematics, blueprints and instructions. This ITAR facility requires a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Qualifications

• Requires 1-2 years related production experience.
• High school diploma; college courses preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand all day.
• Must communicate in English.
• Able to work 40+ hours per week.
• Read and understand prints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and material handling equipment as needed.
• Initiate process improvements in the working area.
