Job summary

Nortek Air Solutions, LLC is seeking an Assembler to figure, cut, assemble, and label crates for shipping. You will assemble crates, arrange parts for safe transport, and move crated products using forklift or pallet jack for LTL and FedEx shipments.

You will operate table saw, miter box saw, and various guns and tools while adhering to safety protocols. The role requires reading blueprints, following shop orders, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade courses preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in assembly or construction environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and work with measuring tools.
• Able to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and orders to assemble parts accurately.
• Operates hand or power tools for assembly tasks.
• Sets up and uses table saws, miters, screw and staple guns.
• Bolts, rivets, and bonds components to complete assemblies.
• Keeps work area clean and follows safety regulations.
• Loads crates and transports with forklift or pallet jack.
• Adheres to lean initiatives and teamwork standards.
